Dust Control is offered to our residents on a yearly basis and is invoiced out and paid prior to application. The Municipality offers 2 applications of dust control throughout the year at a single 16' wide pass unless requested to be doubled. Application times vary based on weather but typically late spring and early fall.
The Municipality has three special service areas where dust control is applied to taxes each year and the current bylaw 3/2023 is in effect until the end of 2025. This includes the following areas:
Special Service area No. 1 - Centennial Drive - 2380'/21 residents
Special Service are No. 2 - Community of Brookdale - 3600'/34 residents
Special Service area No. 3 - Rd 89W - south of 16 HWY from Stoney Creek for 1900'/7 residents
